Service Description
Attend a meaningful dance workshop and make a difference in our community! The focus of this dance based workshop is to recognize lives lost to cancer, and bring together a community of people that have been impacted by or want to support people that have been affected by it throughout the journey of grieving. This is a non-profit event supporting The Coping Centre, an organization providing a peaceful place for support, understanding, compassion and encouragement in the uniqueness of one’s grief journey. They offer support programs, retreats & educational seminars by professionals and volunteers who have all experienced grief in their own lives. You can learn more at copingcentre.com This workshop will be close to my heart, as I lost my mother to cancer in 2022 and will be honoured to share space for this journey right alongside you. Whether you know someone that lost a loved one to cancer, or if you are grieving a loss on your own, come to support, connect or grieve through inclusive and healing dance based movement. All net proceeds will be donate to The Coping Centre to help them continue the beautiful work they do for our community. The workshop will be 2 hours from 2-4pm on Saturday November 14th. It will take place at Remix Swing (92 King Street S) in Uptown Waterloo. (Street and city parking lot surrounding, accessed via stairs, dance experience not required.)

Cancellation Policy
You will be notified by email if class is cancelled due to illness or inclement weather. An alternate date will be given and you may indicate if you choose to attend, donate your paid amount to the assigned organization, or receive a refund.
